The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers, guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. We have proudly served the entire state of Mississippi for the past 92 years. Today, we continue to help our community every day by responding to local disasters.
Mississippi has five chapters which provide the same valued services throughout the state, per the map illustration to the right. (Please visit the Chapters page to find out more about the chapter in your area.) American Red Cross in Mississippi effectively shares resources and streamlined operations to ensure that critical services such as disaster relief, service to military families and lifesaving training remain at their peak, while at the same time maximizing and using donor dollars more effectively. Working together statewide ensures that we will continue to provide our vital lifesaving mission.
